The Mill River Comedy Show

IS BACK!

TWO NIGHTS ONLY!

November 27th and November 28th

PEI born and raised comedian SHAWN HOGAN brings some of the best comedy in Canada home to Mill River, headlined by JEFF MCENERY, the Canadian Comedy Award winner, Just for Laughs festival regular, and Alexander from Crave TV’s Letterkenny!

Thanks to the generous support of our local sponsors, MacAusland's Woollen Mills, Royal LePage Country Estates, and Co-operators: MacDonald Insurance & Investments, tickets have been lowered to just $35 (taxes in) this year. A portion of every ticket sold goes to the West Prince Caring Cupboard.

Two shows to choose from.

The first ever #DearPEI community fundraising tour officially came to an end on March 28th, and OH BOY I’m proud of what we achieved with this tour.

Over the course of a month we raised over $10,000 including donations towards:

  • Tignish Seniors' home

  • Alberton Community Pantry

  • South Shore Food Bank

  • Charlottetown Community Outreach Centre

  • Milton Community Hall

  • Lot 16 community fundraiser for a family in need

  • Montague Food Bank

This felt like the start of something special, so planning has already started for the #DearPEI fundraising tour of 2027 with a goal of $50,000.

THANK YOU to all of the love and support that was sent my way for Friday's album recording. Back to back sold out crowds with each one having some of the best energy I ever could have hoped for. We transformed a new comedy space into one that felt like it was made for something like this, and I think the results will be something that PEI can be very proud of. I know I certainly will be. This project would not have been possible without the support of Innovation PEI through the PEI Arts Grants. I am and will be forever grateful to live in a province that prioritizes such artistic endeavours. From the moment this project was chosen, I've felt nothing but support from their team and would like to give a special shoutout to Elly Laberge for consistently showing up for so many artists throughout PEI. A huge thank you as well to the production team that put their all into making this recording feel easy. Victória Regina, Devon Ross, Bailey Dockendorff, Oakar Myint, Monica Lacey, Wojtek Arciszewski......your amazing work allowed me the space to focus on the fun, and that's all I could ever ask for. Much love as well to Jalen MacLeod for opening the show with great energy, to all the Toronto and Halifax area shows that provided invaluable stage time leading up to this moment. Album #1 is in the can and the prep for album #2 has now officially started.
