A community-first comedy tour

Comedy is fun. It’s what I like about it the career. It’s hard, don’t get me wrong. But when it’s fun it’s REALLY FUN. This project is one of those fun moments. In April I’m excited to be recording my first comedy album at The Guild in Charlottetown, and in the lead-up to that I’m hitting the roads (and back roads) of PEI as a big warmup as part of the “Dear PEI, let’s make an album together…Comedy Tour”.

This tour is a series of live shows across Prince Edward Island that gives me the chance to develop new material, build some momentum toward the album recording, and most importantly to give back to the communities that have supported me throughout my career.

The idea is simple: if a local venue is open to hosting a show — promoting it, selling tickets, and gathering a crowd — once my basic costs are covered (admin, graphic design, and ground travel), profits from the show are donated back into the local community! The venue decides where those funds go, whether that’s a local charity, a community initiative, or even back into the venue itself.

Ticket pricing is flexible and set by the venue based on what works best for their audience. My team handles graphic design and promotional materials; the venue helps spread the word through their channels and manages ticket sales.
